Sisterfest 4th Anniversary Picnic at Freshwater Park The Eureka Sisters will celebrate their 4th anniversary picnic. Please help spread the word. This is a family friendly event. Bring your picnic basket and relax on the lawn. Fabulous music all day! Games for people of all ages! Enter the “My Pretty Pie” Contest by bringing your best baked pie. Saturday, August 7, 2010 Queer Humboldt's Exclusive Premiere of The Mormon Proposition at the Arcata Theatre Lounge 8:00pm
Join Queer Humboldt and friends at Humboldt County’s only screening of The Mormon Proposition— a film that shows who was really behind Proposition 8 in California. This film opened nationally in June, but never made it to Humboldt County. The Arcata Theatre Lounge will be hosting our first ever Queer Humboldt event! You must check it out. Film at 8:00pm. Where: Arcata Ball Park (Crabs Field)
Why: Fundraiser to benefit the Arcata Ridge Trail Project & Pre-Pride Kickoff
Cost: $10 general admission, $50 All-Star VIP (includes special meal and beverages)

Bat N' Rouge - softball with a twist, will happen at the Arcata Ball Park (Crabs Field) on Friday, September 10, 2010 beginning at 6:30pm. This charity softball game will benefit the Arcata Ridge Trail Project and is a collaborative effort between the Eureka Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Queer Humboldt, Babes One For The Road senior softball team and many community members. Goals for this event include but are not limited to; raising awareness and money for the Arcata Ridge Trail Project, to create collaborations within our community, and to be the kick-off event for Humboldt County Pride Weekend.
