Evangelicals Concerned
EC is a non-denominational, evangelical community that is a safe place for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Christians to reconcile and integrate their faith and sexualty. As a volunteer organization, EC fosters an atmosphere for spiritual growth for all who are on their journey of faith through conferences, local groups, Bible studies and educational resources. Soulforce-Humboldt County Chapter
We are starting a local chapter of Soulforce and are starting with several house meetings to invite local LGBT folks to share their experiences with religion, both positive and difficult. We want to do this for support, to learn about each other's experiences, to possibly, ultimately, develop a speaker's bureau to go around to churches/synagogues and meet with religious leaders or congregations.
